Workers revolution against Stalinism: Hungary 1956
About this session

In 1956, workers of Hungary rose up to try and overthrow the Stalinist dictatorship. This revolt showed the horrors of Stalinism and caused many to leave Stalinist parties in disgust. The history of this revolution shows the potential of workers to revolt even in the most politically difficult and repressive circumstances.
