Brisbane's annual anti-capitalist festival is back for 2026!

Socialism Conference 2026 is a festival of anti-capitalist ideas, being held in Brisbane over the weekend of 28-30 August.

The conference will kick off with an opening night event on Friday, with sessions running through Saturday and Sunday. There’s something for every left-wing person in the program, whether you’re new to socialist politics or you’re a seasoned activist.
